klaxons - ''golden skans'' (live studio performance)
just stumbled upon this live studio performance of the track ''golden skans'' off the klaxons' 2007 debut album, myths of the new future (polydor, 2007).
if you missed the alleged ''nu-rave'' explosion (dubbed as such by noneother than england's nme...leave it up to them to name and proclaim an explosion that never really happened), i would recommend checking out the klaxons' xan valleys ep (modular, 2006); myths contains quite a bit of filler (minus this track, of course) while the ep is a non-stop, high-energy affair that more accurately represents what the klaxons had to offer. plus you get two remixes by van she and crystal castles (before the latter became too-cool-for-school).
